thank you Mr. Parmar for this code
Dear sir,
First i would like to say great thanks to u..informations regarding electrical are very much useful for me and electrical engineers like me…i request u pls continue this sir..kindly separate the electrical notes area wise…pls release a book for standard electrical tips and notes .
Thank you sir….
Thanks Jignesh – very useful article. Really enjoy reading all your articles. Please keep it up !
Wow, What a Data given by You Sir ! This data is very much usefull in Practical life. I realy appriciate this chepter of Safety clearance of line from various …….. . Thanks again.
Thank you so much, Mr Jignesh.
Thank u sir for useful information.
I am getting a 4 storied house constructed thru a builder. can you please guide me the sizes of conductor that should be deployed depending upon load – like e te split ac, 25 lit geyser etc?
Dear Sir am From Neyveli, i have constructed a 2 story house near 230 kv Transmission line, our building clearance is horizontal 3.8 Meter, from second floor terrace vertical clearance 5.5 Meter, measured by eye sight, 230kv tower is 60 meter from the building.
Dear Sir am From Neyveli, i have constructed a 2 story house near 230 kv Transmission line, our building clearance is horizontal 3.8 Meter, from second floor terrace vertical clearance 5.5 Meter, measured by eye sight, 230kv tower is 60 meter from the building, is this distance is safe, please give me some conclusion or solution.
Thanks for sharing the information…. may I know how do they determine all those distances. Is there any study done. thanks
Relevant Standard or code is already mention.
what is the TTR meter?
Hi Mr.Parmar, thank you very much for information given, can you please advice some standard for Underground cable laying clearances to utility services like water gas, sewage etc? I am laying 66kV UG cable
Already Give in the Blog.
Please refer Electrical Safety Standard part 1 to 5 of this Blog
Excellent useful 4 clearnce building railway roads
Special thanks!
I’ld like to know the minimum clearance of 230kv line & Transformer when transformer is passing trought under 230kV line.
I would like to know the clearance of EHV line over national highways mentioned is as per which Notification? is it mentioned in any of the GOVT Gazzetes or NHAI notification or CEA Gazzete?
Thanks for the information.
please clarify that “can 220kV Power Line cross over 400kV line?”
if it so then how and what are the precautions to be taken?
if not possible then why?
Please clarify whether the IE Rule 1956 has been replaced by the CEA Regualtions, 2010
I appreciate the efforts that you are putting down to help people with various electrical safety measures that they need to take care when they start laying wiring for new building constructions. Thanks for these points and sharing with us.
Hi Jignesh, Thanks so much for the information. We have a HT line tower in our land and want to know the KV of that HT line. There are no boards or marks on the tower for any identification. Can you suggest any other way to find out the KV of the HT line.
what i understood that it is possible to construct a building within right of way of a overhead HT line if we maintain vertical clearance between top of building & OHT line. Is my understanding correct?
I am having a stone mines.Nearby around 20 metre away passing 220 KV line. Can I run my mines as per rules. Blasting work is also carried out in our mines.
Hello Mr.Parmar,
Have you come across the occasions where the utilities define the Right of Ways(RoW’s) depending upon the structure type, i.e whether the structures are Lattice, I-shape or V-shape insulators, Pole type structures with insulated cross arms etc?
RIGID BUS CLERANCE IN DIFFERENT VOLTAGES
We would like to make building construction near 400 KV HT line. How much shall be spacing left from 400 KV
tower center.
Dear sir could u plz certain sugation . I build a single ster house under over head transmission lines so any problems … Plz tell sir
Dear sir plz help me
i build a house in future under the over head transmission lines so any problems faced
Sir,
I have bought a residential plot in a pvt. Builder area. A 400 KVA line is located near my plot.
Please tell me how much distance is required to be maintain by builder from 400KVA line as per norms. And from where this distance measured , from center of line or extreme conductor etc. whether road in front of my plot also have to be spared for that distance.
Read about you and feel
you are great sir.
what is the difference between right of way and horizontal distance from the building
sir please tell me the clear spacing between conductors in over head lines( for 11 kv,33kv and 132 kv)
please let me know.. What should be the clearances required for under 66kV HT lines to nearest building??
Very information
Hi sir,
We are planning to construct a house near 132kv high tension lines. What would be the safe distance from these lines to construct a house? Will there be any problems like electric shock, radiation effect, etc?
what is right of way clearance for 66kv line
is there any norm or regulation for electrical line crossing state highways?
thank u for valuble information sir
What should be the clearance to nantinal highway of ROW 60 horizontal clearance needs from 220kv and 440KV tower line .
sir please tell me the clearance between 220kv and 400kv passing parallel each other
Sir,
We are construction a camp. 66 kv line is crossed in between camp premises
what is ROW for same.pls
Sir, when a group of 132 or 220 KV wire cross over the railway track. what is the width acquire of railway land (width wise.)
What is the ground clearance of 10MVA PTR live bushing to ground.

How to calculate jumper length for 220 kV line.?
Hello all,
Coal Handling pipe conveyor is crossing above the 33kV line with vertical distance between 33kV line and bottom of conveyor 12 m. Can any one tell that the distance between these two is sufficient ? pl give justification.
